IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19:
Dear New Life Family Church,
In light of Governor Kim Reynold’s request, NLFC will not be gathering at the church for the rest of the month of March. This includes our Sunday service, Thursday evening youth group, and Saturday evening prayer.
2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” I want to encourage you to choose to walk in the power, love, and self-control that God’s Spirit offers us—walking in wisdom and not of fear.
James 3:17 also says, “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.” We know what true wisdom looks like because this is who God is. The virus situation did not catch God off guard. He is greater than anything we will face and He will make a way for us, therefore, let your hearts stay in peace.
As vast as this virus may be, we will see the greatness of our God even more. Although we may not physically meet as a church family during this time, please stay connected. If you are in need of anything, let us know. We have been providing meals to those in need and look for opportunities to serve in this time. Please be on the lookout for opportunities to let your light shine with your neighbors, our community, and all of those who may be in need. We will be posting on our Facebook page to give updates during this time.
We are standing and agreeing with Numbers 6:24-26: “The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26 the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
